The Essential isn't the right pool for every backyard — and that's the point. Here's exactly who tends to choose it.
New-build communities and master-planned neighborhoods often leave 25–40 feet of usable yard depth. The Essential fits cleanly inside that footprint without giving up swim space.
A real concrete pool at the lowest Optima price point. Same equipment, same finishes, same install crew as every other tier — just sized smaller.
With a minimum 4' excavation access requirement and a compact footprint, the Essential is the most likely Optima package to clear narrow side-yard restrictions.
The only thing that changes from package to package is the size. Everything below is included in all four.
Pool location must be on a flat, accessible lot inside our service area.
Customize your Essential with any of these add-ons. Every add-on is publicly priced so there's never any hidden costs.
Pool and trench area must be relatively flat with natural ground. Pavers, concrete, turf, landscaping, rock, boulders, trees, etc. will require demolition at an extra cost.
Cannot be on a slope or hillside.
Minimum 4' access required for excavation.
Main Electric House Panel and Main House Gas Meter must be within 100 feet of future Pool Equipment location.
